SpinBet Demo Mode: How to Play SpinBet Pokies for Free
SpinBet demo mode lets you spin a pokie with play money instead of your own balance. Nothing is staked and nothing can be won, but the reels, features and bonus rounds work just as they do in the real game. For anyone deciding which SpinBet pokies deserve a deposit, it is the most useful free tool there is.
SpinBet demo at a glance
- Almost every pokie at SpinBet has a demo mode.
- Open a game and choose Demo to play with play money.
- Every game page on this site also has a free demo, with no account needed.
- Demo wins are for fun only and can never be withdrawn.
What Is SpinBet Demo Mode?
A demo is the full version of a pokie running on a play money balance. The grid, symbols, paytable and features match the real money game, so a demo is a fair preview of how a pokie looks, sounds and pays out its features. What it never does is touch your account. There is no stake, no win to cash out, and no effect on bonuses or VIP points.
SpinBet offers demos on almost every pokie in its lobby. If you open a game and there is no Demo option, it is one of the few titles that runs for real money only.
How to Use SpinBet Demo Mode
There are two ways to play SpinBet free pokies: inside SpinBet itself, or on the game pages here.
On SpinBet
- Open SpinBet and find the pokie in the lobby.
- Open the game and choose Demo instead of real play.
- Spin with the play balance as long as you like.
- Switch to real play whenever you are ready.
On this site
- Pick a game from the SpinBet pokies catalogue.
- Press play on the free demo on the game page.
- No sign up and no deposit needed.
- Read the game details beside the demo while you spin.
SpinBet Demo vs Real Money Play
The game itself stays the same when you move from demo to real money. Everything around it changes.
| Demo mode | Real money | |
|---|---|---|
| Balance | Play money | Your NZD balance |
| Account | Not needed on this site’s game pages | Needed, and verified before you withdraw |
| Rules, paytable and features | Same as the real game | Same as the demo |
| Wins | For fun only | Added to your balance and withdrawable |
| Welcome bonus | Not available | Up to $6,000 plus 100 free spins |
| VIP points | None | Every dollar wagered adds points |
| Safer play limits | Not needed | Deposit, loss and wager limits in your account |
One thing to check when you switch: studios release many pokies with several RTP versions, and each casino chooses which one to run. Open the info screen in the real money game to see the exact figure SpinBet uses.
What to Test in a SpinBet Demo
A demo is most useful when you go in with a few questions. These six are worth answering before any real money spin.
Find out what triggers free spins and what the max win is before you press spin.
Spin long enough to see how often small wins land and how the game moves.
See whether they apply to a single win or keep building through a round.
Note the lowest and highest stake so you know the game fits your budget.
If the game has one, the demo shows what a 100x buy looks like without paying for it.
High volatility games can go many spins without a win. Better to find out with play money.
Best SpinBet Pokies to Try in Demo First
Some games make sense straight away. These have features that are much easier to understand once you have watched them play out a few times.
| Pokie | Why demo it first |
|---|---|
| Gates of Olympus 2500 | A wheel picks one of four free spins modes before each bonus, and the two Super versions never drop a multiplier below 10x |
| Sugar Rush 1000 | Spot multipliers start at 2x and double each time the spot is hit, up to 1,024x |
| Snoop Dogg Dollars | Scatters turn into sticky wilds or x10 cell multipliers that climb to x100 in free spins |
| Magic Spins | 29 reels, with small reels for gems and cash plus 4 big corner reels holding collectors |
| 3 Super Hot Chillies | A Super Wheel spins before every bonus and can add the Multi, Double or Extra feature |
| Tanked 3: First Blood 2 | The biggest max win in the catalogue here, at 25,584x |

The two sound alike but work very differently. Demo spins use play money, so you can play as many as you like and none of them ever pays out. SpinBet free spins are real spins that the casino pays for, and their winnings go to your balance.

What SpinBet Demo Mode Cannot Tell You
- What will happen next. Every spin is random in demo and real play alike. A run of big demo wins says nothing about your next real money spin.
- The real RTP. RTP is measured over a very large number of spins. A demo session is far too short to show it, so use the published figure instead.
- How real stakes feel. Losing play money is easy. Set a budget before you switch to real play.
- Anything about rewards. Demo play earns no VIP points and cannot unlock a bonus.
